Dear Clients,
Now and always, the health, wellness, and safety of our clients and team members is our top priority! First, Prepare, Don’t Panic! Communication, and Education is key during times of uncertainty! We take your continuity of the care we provide seriously as people’s lives depend on the availability of our healthcare providers and supporting services.
In response to the growing concerns over Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have taken measures to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and safety of our clients and team members. Our strength as a community is our greatest asset!
Our offices in Pueblo and Colorado Springs are fully prepared to handle all possible scenarios for seamless service, support, and delivery of care. We have the following Action plan in place for your continued care.
Telemedicine: As most of you already know, at Springbok Health, Telemedicine is in place and available for all clients who have access to a computer or smartphone with internet or cellular access. Please be sure you can access our website for links to your Patient Portal and Doxy.me link under the appointment tab. Look for the Black Button to access telehealth with Mark, or our other providers. Once you click this button, you will have to enable the camera and voice on your device to continue to the waiting room. At the top in red you will see if the provider is online. You will wait in the waiting room until the provider connects to you. Should you have any trouble, please find the Trouble Shooting guide located on the appointments page, or as always, you can call the office for help. We ask that if you have a thermometer, or any equipment available such as a pulse oximeter or blood pressure equipment, please use these during your visit to provide this valuable information to our providers. Clients with fevers > 100.4 F will be scheduled with follow up visits in 4 days to track progression of symptoms.
Medication Access: We are working with local pharmacies to ensure that clients have access to medications if in quarantine. Medications can be delivered either by a pharmacy employee or via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Clients should not be charged for any of these services. This may differ by individual pharmacy procedures.
Remote Workforce Readiness: Our Electronic Health Records, and phone system allow for us to be prepared to work from anywhere via secure remote access if such a situation does arise. We have deployed, tested, and validated secure access technology for members of our Springbok Health team in order to provide uninterrupted service.
Educational Information: Such information will be continuously updated, according to official guidelines, as information becomes available. We will be placing such information to be made readily available on our website. We invite you to please keep up with this information.
As the outbreak of COVID-19 and it’s threat level is changing rapidly, we are closely monitoring developments in our community, by following the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment DORA Colorado, Centers for Disease Control HHS, and WHO websites for updated protocols and procedures to ensure adequate preparedness and risk management. If you have any questions or desire additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to office at (719) 766-8511 or email us using your patient portal or at info@springbokhealth.com
