I am a native of Colorado, born in La Junta, and have lived all over the state, including Ft Collins, Aspen, Denver, Boulder, and Colorado City. I have been in Pueblo since 2013. I graduated from Colorado State University in 1999 with a BS in Psychology. After a decade working in healthcare, I went back to school to obtain my nursing degree from Pueblo Community College in 2018. I am currently completing the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner master’s degree program at Regis College with the intention of continuing with Springbok Health as a mental health provider after graduation to help serve the southern Colorado area. Since becoming an RN, I have worked mainly in the area of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, but I have a general passion and drive to help each individual achieve their own unique version of complete, regardless of diagnosis. I believe nursing is the ideal vocation through which to treat mental health as it easily integrates treatment options from a variety of fields while supporting an individual’s role in determining their unique course of treatment. I look forward to helping this community grow in a positive way.
