Paul Casados

Paul Casados, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified, master’s-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate mental health services to adults and children of all ages. Paul possesses strong clinical skills and focuses on building rapport with patients and families. He is guided by evidence-based practice combined with his clinical experience to provide individualized care. As a PMHNP-BC, he serves as a mental health advocate, therapist, educator, and researcher dedicated to achieving the best outcomes in his patients’ mental health treatment. Paul values culture-based care and collaboration to support a patient-centered approach to healthcare. His areas of focus include depression, PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, substance and alcohol abuse treatment, behavioral health, postpartum mental health, trauma-informed care, and psychotherapy.

Paul received his ASN in 2011, BSN in 2015 with an emphasis on leadership and management, MSN in 2021 specializing in administrative nursing, and PMHNP in 2023. He has been in nursing care since 1992, with a background in long-term care and mental health care, and brings 14 years of mental health experience working with chronic and acute mental health patients of all ages, including children with special needs. Educationally prepared in evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and therapeutic modalities, Paul is committed to addressing each patient’s individualized needs. A Pueblo native, Paul is dedicated to assisting his community and serving their well-being.
