I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 25 years of nursing experience across a variety of specialties, including psychiatry, correctional healthcare, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and maternal health. My career has provided me the privilege of serving diverse populations in complex settings, from correctional facilities in the United States to 17 years of dedicated service under the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman.
I began my professional journey in India, completing my General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and later earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University, Arizona, and my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Walden University, Minnesota.
As a PMHNP, I am deeply committed to delivering holistic, patient-centered psychiatric care, with a strong focus on improving mental health outcomes and empowering individuals to achieve stability, resilience, and wellness. My international experience and work in correctional and forensic settings have enhanced my adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and skill in managing complex psychiatric presentations. I bring a wealth of clinical expertise, leadership, and a profound dedication to serving individuals with dignity and respect. My mission as a PMHNP is to provide safe, effective, and empathetic care while advocating for mental health awareness and reducing stigma in every community I serve.
