Zoe Hurtado, MS, is a dedicated therapist specializing in mental health and wellness
with a passion for creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel heard,
respected, and empowered. With over 20 years of experience as a first responder, Zoe
brings unique insight into the challenges of high-stress environments and a deep
commitment to helping others navigate life’s most difficult moments.
Zoe earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Sociology from the University of
South Carolina and a Master of Science in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from
Capella University. She further strengthened her leadership skills through a 10-month
intensive program with the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership,
where she developed advanced tools for fostering collaboration and community impact.
Guided by core values of honesty, acceptance, and compassion, Zoe believes in
meeting each client where they are and creating a safe environment for growth and
healing. Her approach is approachable, non-judgmental, supportive, and solution-
focused, inspiring clients to build resilience, discover their strengths, and move toward a
healthier, more balanced life.
Zoe has a particular passion for supporting first responders, professionals in high-
pressure careers, and individuals seeking to overcome stress, trauma, or major life
transitions. She views therapy as a collaborative journey and considers it a privilege to
walk alongside clients as they move toward greater clarity, balance, and well-being.
